Decontamination

In order to deal with the problem of working on contaminated equipment, NLI has a long-standing alliance with Alaron Corporation.  Alaron has a versatile NRC approved license that allows for the decontamination of all items such as motors, pumps, tools, and other complex components.  Decontamination can take place at Alaron’s facility, at the job site, or at NLI’s facility as necessary to perform the service.  The Alaron license also allows maintenance and repair work to be performed on the item in its contaminated state as the work scope requires. 


Under this unique alliance, Alaron provides the radiological controls expertise and oversight, and NLI supplies personnel and expertise to keep the process running smoothly in conjunction with any repairs associated with the project.
