While NLI is certainly an equipment supplier, it may be more accurate to say NLI is a service provider with our primary service being the supply of hardware.  This statement is true because so many of the products NLI sells are hardware solutions for specific client challenges and often require extensive engineering, equipment qualification, or both.

As can be seen in our Mission Statement, NLI strives to provide hardware in a manner that “causes the least impact to nuclear plant resources.”  Many vendors are content to offer the closest-fit product and this often requires sites to perform costly engineering justifications.  NLI strives to provide products that minimize the sites’ engineering content and when that is not possible, we perform much of the engineering work ourselves.  

In-house services range from material testing, qualification services, EMI / RFI testing or engineering services such as the development of equivalency evaluations in accordance with EPRI NP-6406.

Our vendor alliances are unique in the industry, as NLI prefers to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our valued partners.  When you call NLI to help you with a challenge, you’ll get a team of professionals that combine the vast nuclear experience of NLI and the product expertise from the manufacturer of the product recommended as the solution.

When you need service at your site, NLI and our vendor partners are ready to provide on-site maintenance, repairs, or testing of your Actuators, Breakers, Chillers, Digital controls, and the rest of the alphabet of products we support.
