Level Measurement

The ability to accurately measure the level of liquids inside tanks and vessels is essential to the safe operation of nuclear plants.  Legacy level measurement relies heavily on measuring differential pressure and often requires compensation for changes in density.

Newer liquid level measurement techniques include ultrasound and radar and these technologies are being incorporated into the current generation of nuclear plants.  This new technology is extremely accurate.  NLI is already supplying these new technologies to plants being constructed overseas.
