NLI specializes in supplying transformers to meet our clients’ requirements.  Whether it’s a small control power transformers (CPT) used in the typical motor control center cubicle, a 10MVA dry type transformer, or anything in between, NLI focuses on meeting our clients’ unique requirements.

The transformers used in the nuclear industry need to meet specific requirements that are not commonly found in commercial grade off the shelf products.  NLI specializes in designing, fabricating, testing and supplying transformers of all sizes and types to meet our clients’ unique requirements.

Typical transformer modifications include custom fabricated bases and enclosures designed for high seismic applications, custom dimensions for odd footprint requirements, high temperature rated insulation systems, digitally controlled fan cooling systems, high temperature/radiation wiring and custom windings to achieve extreme voltage ranges.

The transformers are then supplied with the required qualification in accordance with IEEE Standards 344, 384 and 323 at a minimum.
